Getting here
Geibi Gorge (Geibikei) is in the south of Iwate Prefecture, in Japan's northern Tohoku region. It is about 450 km from Tokyo, and using the shinkansen (bullet train) can be reached in about two hours. From Sendai International Airport, it is about one hour away making use of the shinkansen.
